Students rated every external support option above 90% for helpfulness in the T1 student survey - and their comments show how they used the help on offer.
Help that worked
All external support options scored over 90% for helpfulness. The Madgwick Student Information Hub on MyLearn rated highest at 96%, with webinars and workshops, PAM peer mentoring, Mentor sessions and SimTheory Academy all at 93% or 94%.

Learning the platform, their way
Three quarters of respondents who used support options used more than one while learning the platform. Students chose the mix that suited them, and several said the sessions changed how they used the tool.
"I found the mentor session extremely useful and insightful, and only wish that I had done it earlier in the year and therefore been able to use Madgwick more."
"... the online sessions specific to Madgwick and AI academic integrity module had me feeling very confident on the best ways to utilise Madgwick to support my learning."
From users to builders
For some students, the support options became a path from first use to real capability.
"The SimTheory academy was very useful. I went from being an occasion user of AI to building my own AI agents. I'm looking forward to more courses being released through the academy."
"Love how UNE has embraced this technology and provides training how to understand and best use AI to assist in studies. From never using AI I know feel confident how to get the best from it."
Behind the options
PAM and Mentor support grew out of PASS and work across both teams. Webinars and workshops run on request for staff and students - Oorala, Colleges and Schools.
