Often referred to as “the real Madgwick Wizard”, Shannon architects the interaction logic, prompt frameworks, and governance models that underpin platforms such as Madgwick and Cogniti. She ensures AI systems are clear, context-aware, reliable, and aligned with institutional policy, privacy, and responsible AI principles.

Shannon manages complex, multi-stakeholder AI initiatives from concept through to adoption. She also leads the development of AI learning resources for students and oversees the facilitation of peer-led student AI workshops, alongside coordinating the Madgwick Community of Practice to support staff collaboration, shared learning, and continuous improvement in AI use across UNE.
